Brett Beugen
Senior Vice President, Business Credit Loan Originations
Brett Beugen is a regional originations manager in the Business Credit division. His team is responsible for parts of the midwest, along with Arkansas. Beugen began his career with Wells Fargo in 1998 as a relationship manager in the company’s HSBC Trade Bank. He moved to Business Credit in 2003, and became a business development manager in 2007. Prior to Wells Fargo, Beugen spent two years with American National Bank and Trust Company. He is a member of the Turnaround Management Association and a board member of the Minnesota Chapter of the Association of Corporate Growth. Beugen holds a bachelor’s degree from the University of Minnesota’s Carlson School of Management.
Stephen Bishop
Executive Vice President and National Loan Originations Manager, Business Credit Loan Originations
Stephen Bishop is the national loan originations manager for the Business Credit team. He began his career with Wells Fargo in 1992 in the Associates Training Program and since that time has held various positions within Wells Fargo, from credit analyst and portfolio manager to business development officer, business development manager, and division manager. Prior to his current role, Bishop was a regional manager for Business Credit. He received his M.B.A. in finance from the University of Minnesota’s Carlson School of Business after obtaining a bachelor’s degree from Northwestern University. He is a past president of the Minnesota/Upper Midwest chapter of the Turnaround Management Association and a member of the Association for Corporate Growth.
Barry Bobrow
Managing Director, Loan Sales and Syndications
Barry Bobrow is the head of Loan Sales and Syndications for Wells Fargo Capital Finance. Prior to joining Wachovia in 2004, he was a managing director at Bank of America Securities where, over an 18-year career, his assignments included team leader for middle-market leveraged finance, head of European loan syndication, and syndicate manager for asset-based lending. Bobrow is a member of the executive committee of the Commercial Finance Association, and a past member of the board of directors of the Loan Syndication and Trading Association (LSTA). He holds an M.B.A. and a bachelor’s degree in Economics, both from the University of Michigan.

Mark Champion
Managing Director, Corporate Finance Loan Originations
Mark Champion leads the Corporate Finance group’s Dallas loan originations team that covers the south central U.S. Prior to joining Wells Fargo Capital Finance in 2007, Champion spent 10 years at CIT Group as a senior originator in their Business Capital group. He’s also worked for Bank One and Caprock Holdings in various capacities. Champion is currently an advisory member of the board of directors of the Dallas-Fort Worth chapter of the Association for Corporate Growth. He is a Chartered Financial Analyst and holds a bachelor’s degree in finance from the University of Oklahoma.
Eran Cohen
Managing Director, Corporate Finance Loan Originations
Eran Cohen leads the Corporate Finance group’s Chicago loan originations team that covers the central U.S. Prior to joining the company in 2005, Cohen was a partner with Monroe Capital, successor fund to Hilco Capital, where he was responsible for deal sourcing, investment structuring, underwriting, and execution of fund investments. He has also served as the Midwest Regional Underwriting Manager of FINOVA Capital Corporation, and as CFO/consultant for two private companies. Cohen holds a bachelor’s degree in finance from the University of Iowa and an M.B.A. in accounting from Loyola University. He is also a member of the Commercial Finance Association and the Turnaround Management Association.
Bob Dyckman
Managing Director and Sales Manager, Supply Chain Finance
Dyckman joined Wells Fargo in 2008 to develop and market industry-leading supply chain solutions that address the working capital needs of large corporate clients. Bob has more than 20 years of banking and financial services experience. Prior to Wells Fargo, he led a trade and supply chain sales effort at Citibank, and was a treasury services sales consultant at JPMorgan Chase. Bob also served as director of sales at TradeCard. He holds an M.B.A. from Seton Hall University and a bachelor’s degree in marketing from Villanova University.

Stephen Elson leads Sales Finance for the Supply Chain Finance team. Prior to joining Wells Fargo, he was global product head of distribution finance at Citibank. He’s also worked for GE Commercial Finance and Standard Chartered Bank. Elson has more than 20 years of banking and commercial finance experience, including commercial aircraft financing, structured export finance, off -balance sheet inventory structures, and supply chain finance. He holds a degree from the University of Notre Dame.

Jay Gardner
Senior Vice President and Regional Business Development Manager, Accounts Receivable Financing and Purchase Order Finance Groups
Jay Gardner joined Wells Fargo Capital Finance in January 2009, and manages a team that markets accounts receivable financing and purchase order financing to companies nationwide and to companies in a variety of industries west of the Mississippi River. Prior to joining Wells Fargo, Gardner worked in business development at Textron Financial, Inc. He’s also served as the national sales manager at Marquette Commercial Finance, and was a senior member of their underwriting committee. He is a member of the Association for Corporate Growth and the Turnaround Management Association.
John Hanley
Executive Vice President and Division Portfolio Manager, Distribution Finance
A 28-year veteran of the asset-based lending industry, John Hanley joined Wells Fargo Capital Finance in 2004 as division portfolio manager. Hanley currently manages the Distribution Finance unit of Wells Fargo Capital Finance, which includes its relationship with Castle Pines Capital. Prior to joining Wells Fargo, Hanley was senior vice president and portfolio manager for the Corporate Lending Group of GE Capital. He held several roles during his 17 plus year tenure at GE Capital. Hanley has a bachelor’s degree and M.B.A. from Indiana State University.

Kevin Gillespie oversees new business development and relationship management for the east region of the Trade Capital division at Wells Fargo Capital Finance. Prior to joining Wells Fargo in 2010, he was with CIT Group as the northeast new business manager for CIT Commercial Services. Gillespie holds an undergraduate degree from Villanova University and a master’s degree from Fordham University.
Scott Glassberg
Managing Director, Corporate Finance Loan Originations
Scott Glassberg leads the Corporate Finance loan originations team that covers the southwestern U.S. He has over 22 years of experience financing middle-market companies in asset-based, cash-flow, and enterprise-value structures in a variety of situations, including working capital refinancing, leveraged acquisitions, and debt restructurings. Since joining Wells Fargo Capital Finance in 1990 as a loan underwriter, he has been involved in sourcing and structuring more than 150 senior secured transactions, and has worked on more than 75 sponsor-related buyouts in a wide range of industries. Glassberg holds a degree from California State University, Northridge.

Luke Graham, a 23-year veteran in the commercial and structured finance industry, joined Wells Fargo Capital Finance in 2005. His current responsibilities include managing a team of new business development professionals that provide financing solutions to specialty finance companies located throughout the United States. He has extensive experience structuring asset-backed securities and credit facilities for large and middle market non-bank commercial finance companies across many asset classes. Prior to joining Wells Fargo, Graham worked at Wachovia Securities in Atlanta, GE Capital in Atlanta and MBIA in New York. He received his M.B.A. in finance from Rutgers Graduate School of Management and a bachelor’s degree in economics from Penn State.

Mark Gustafson
Senior Vice President
Mark Gustafson is a regional originations manager of the Business Credit division. His loan originations team covers the western U.S., excluding California. Gustafson began his career with Wells Fargo in 1988 as a collateral examiner for Business Credit. He became a relationship manager for Business Credit in 1990, and became a manager for a relationship management team in 1993. In 1998, Gustafson became division manager for Business Credit in the Phoenix office, and later moved to Denver to fulfill the same role. Gustafson received his bachelor’s degree from the University of St. Thomas in St. Paul, Minnesota. He is a current member of the Turnaround Management Association, as well as a former president of its Denver chapter and former board member of its Phoenix chapter. Gustafson is also a member of the Association of Corporate Growth.

Jeff Huntington has more than 15 years of experience in business development, account management, originations management, commercial banking, and asset-based lending. He joined Wells Fargo in 2004 from Fifth Third Bank in Chicago. As a regional originations manager for Wells Fargo Capital Finance, he and his team are responsible for working directly with prospective customers throughout the southeast and midwest. Since joining Wells Fargo, he and his team have sourced more than 90 new relationships totaling more than $1.8 billion in day one borrowings. Huntington holds a bachelor’s degree from the University of Dayton and an M.B.A. from Lake Forest Graduate School of Management.

Howard Kim

Howard Kim has more than 23 years of banking experience, with much of it in secured lending. He joined Wachovia Securities in 1998 as a director in the Leveraged Finance group, and has held positions in originations, underwriting, and portfolio management. In his current role, he manages a team who originates traditional and specialty senior secured financing in the southeastern U.S. Prior to joining Wells Fargo Capital Finance, he held a number of positions with Bank of America, where he was involved in commercial lending, leveraged finance, corporate lending, and corporate finance. He holds a degree from Florida State University.

Rob Kinne is a regional originations manager in the Business Credit division. His loan originations team covers New England, upstate New York, and Canada. Kinne began his career with Wells Fargo in 2009 as a part of the merger with Wachovia, where he had been a business development officer since 1995. Prior to Wachovia, Kinne spent 14 years with GE Capital in management roles supporting business development, portfolio management, and field analysis. Darryl Kuriger leads the east coast team for Loan Sales & Syndications. Kuriger joined Wells Fargo in 1993 via a predecessor company. He has spent most of his career working in debt capital markets, with a particular emphasis in asset-based lending. Kuriger has held functional positions in loan syndications, underwriting, originations, and portfolio management, and has served a broad array of clients in the industrial growth, consumer, and retail industries. He holds a bachelor’s degree from Villanova University and is a former board member of the Philadelphia Chapter of the Commercial Finance Association.

A 16-year veteran of lending to finance companies, Jim Lees joined Wells Fargo Capital Finance in 2008. His current responsibilities include the development of new lending relationships for specialty finance companies, with his primary focus on the northeastern U.S. Throughout his career he has originated, structured and closed transactions for middle-market and large corporate clients across numerous industries. Prior to joining Wells Fargo, Lees was an executive director on the ABS Conduit team at HSBC, and was previously group head of the U.S. Structured Lending unit of CIBC World Markets. Leo Leitner

Leo Leitner joined Wachovia Securities in 1990 and was named to his current role as senior regional sales manager for the Corporate Finance group’s Eastern region in early 2009. His team of 22 origination professionals is located in New York City, Boston, and Atlanta, and is responsible for sourcing loan transactions for companies and financial intermediaries located along the eastern seaboard. Steven Macko joined Wells Fargo Capital Finance in 1998 and established its San Francisco office in 1999. He currently manages loan originations for the Santa Monica, San Francisco, Chicago, and Dallas offices, and works with many leading San Francisco-based private equity firms to provide buyout financing for their acquisitions of software companies. Prior to joining Capital Finance, Macko spent several years at Ernst & Young, PWC, and Strome Investment Management, an alternative investment strategy hedge fund. Jim Marasco oversees loan originations for Wells Fargo Capital Finance, managing a team of business development officers, direct loan originators, analysts, and syndications professionals. His team has helped originate leveraged financings for public, private, and sponsor-backed companies in various industries. Prior to joining the company in 1989, Marasco worked in leveraged finance at a number of firms, including GE Capital and Citicorp. He has served as a director of the West Coast chapter of the Commercial Finance Association, and holds a bachelor’s degree in accounting from Michigan State University.

Since 1997, Patricia Murray has led Business Credit’s loan originations team in California. Prior to joining Wells Fargo, she spent 15 years with FINOVA in several positions, including managing director of its Mexican subsidiary, portfolio manager covering Latin America. and national credit manager for several lines of business. Murray is actively involved in the Commercial Finance Association, the Turnaround Management Association, and the Association for Corporate Growth. A native of Mexico City, Murray received her bachelor’s degree from the Institute of Anthropology and History in Mexico City. She has also completed the Executive Management Program at the University of Arizona.

Scott Ryan

Scott Ryan joined Wells Fargo Capital Finance in 1996 from Shawmut National Corporation, and has served as an auditor, account executive, and underwriter in the Business Finance division. He became a business development officer in 2002 and was given responsibility over the Boston originations team and the New England region in 2007. In 2009, the New York portfolio was added to Ryan’s responsibilities, and he now oversees the northeast region for the Corporate Finance loan originations teams, including New England, New York, and mid-Atlantic states. Ryan holds a bachelor’s degree in business administration from Villanova University.
Adam D. Salter
Managing Director, Retail Junior Capital
Adam Salter joined Wells Fargo Capital Finance in 2010 to help launch the Retail Junior Capital group. He came to Wells Fargo from GB Merchant Partners, a division of Gordon Brothers Group, where he was a director and member of the 1903 Debt Fund. While there, he was responsible for underwriting and managing junior-secured, mezzanine and asset-based loans across various industries. Prior to GB Merchant Partners, Salter held positions with Wachovia Capital Finance. He is a member of the Commercial Finance Association and the Turnaround Management Association. He holds a bachelor’s degree from Bentley College and an M.B.A. from Boston College.

Lloyd Squire

Lloyd Squire serves as Managing Director for business origination in the Channel Finance division, a role he has held since joining Wells Fargo in 2010. Lloyd has over 30 years of experience in the channel finance industry, having worked for Textron Financial, IBM Global Finance, Transamerica and Deutsche Financial Services in various sales and portfolio management roles. Brian Statfeld joined Wells Fargo in April 2010 as a Managing Director, responsible for the origination of asset-based loan transactions in the Lender Finance division. Prior to Wells Fargo, Statfeld was global head of asset securitization for WestLB, where he managed a loan portfolio of more than $20 billion. Statfeld has also served as an investment banker with Rothschild Inc., where his responsibilities included the origination, structuring, and distribution of asset-backed private placements across all asset classes. Kevin Sullivan

Erik Wanberg joined Wells Fargo in 2008 and has 25 years of experience in supply chain and trade finance. Prior to joining Wells Fargo, he served as Managing Director of the North America Trade group for Citigroup. Additionally, he served as product manager for Trade Distribution Services at GE Capital, and was a senior vice president of Supply Chain Services at Silicon Valley Bank. Erik is a graduate of San Francisco State University.

Zayas has more than 24 years of commercial finance experience, including asset based lending and international channel finance. He holds a bachelor’s degree in accounting from Barry University and an M.B.A. in marketing from the Universidad Interamericana de Puerto Rico.
